How is credit awarded?
Students attend BTEC as part of their high school day and receive high school credit for their career and technical classes. All BTEC credits meet District 12 graduation requirements.
How many classes can I enroll in at BTEC?
Students must be enrolled in a career and technical class. Beyond that, students may add English, math, science and/or social studies classes as their schedules allow. All BTEC classes meet district graduation requirements.
How long are BTEC classes?
This varies depending on the class and semester. See individual teacher websites for classes you are thinking of taking.
Who can attend BTEC?
Any Adams District Twelve high school student in 10th, 11th or 12th grade. Participating high schools include Horizon, Mountain Range, Legacy, Northglenn, Thornton and Vantage Point Campus, or any District 12 Charter School.
