How do I know if BTEC is for me?
BTEC classes are ideal for the student who likes to learn by “doing.” The job-simulation classroom experiences use state of the art equipment to prepare students for either a career upon graduation, OR to provide students a first time experience in a variety of career and technical classes.
What kind of teaching credentials do the BTEC teaching staff have?
BTEC faculty is comprised of certified teachers who are highly trained professionals in their specialized areas. Each teacher has at least five years of actual on-the-job related experience to complement their teaching skills.
How do students enroll for classes at BTEC?
Students sign up for BTEC classes in February and March during the registration process at their home high school. More information is available on our registration page.
How do students get transportation to BTEC?
FREE transportation is provided for students between their home high schools and BTEC. Transportation for internships, volunteer work, or other out-of-school experiences is the responsibility of the student. Student parking is available on a limited basis. See Bus Schedule for routes and times.
